I know that TGP's solution to most things is to spend more money, but that doesn't yield results in the endgame."…For the time being, those who have the problem can lower the amount of loaded dlls by moving some of the components out of the folder C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 9\Components. I got a good sound before Slate, and would get a good sound without them. The included LX480 reverb is the best I ever used, the mastering plugs are very transparent, and everything in the virtual mix rack is very good.īut I still use specific plugs from Waves and Eventide and a bunch of others. That said, I am a subscriber to Slate Digital's Everything thing, and they do sound very good. Those 20 could all come from a different developer and they'd still work.

I own hundreds of plug ins and regularly use about twenty of them.

You need good sounding compressors and EQ, and beyond that you just need to know how to mix. Great records have been made and continue to get made without any given processor. Listen: you will never miss out on anything by not owning some specific piece of gear or software. I've never had a problem, and it beats reinstalling and verifying all those licenses when you clean a drive, buy a new one, etc. I don't know why people have so much trouble with iLok. So, have any of you compared what the Bundle Everything can do against the aforementioned tools? Will I miss something essential by not getting it? What would you recommend as an alternative? I use Reaper on Windows + Focusrite interface.

Am willing to pay for some (limited budget though!) if they are good and no hassle involved. Am thinking of getting some Valhalla reverb, etc. Also have Ferric for saturation/tape simulation. I am already using Limiter 6 (vladg), TDR VOS SlickEQ, Soundtoys Sie-Q, all of which I think sound great. I am interested in plugins to help my mixing/mastering process. I have already spent money on SSDrums in the past and never used them (hassle with Kontakt player and being so non-intuitive, at least compared to EZDrummer) and was hoping this time my experience would be better, but cannot even finish buying the damm bundle! Not even started with the authorization problem, which I am sure will appear after reading complaints and issues on forums. Don't want to have to pay $10 to get an iLok shipped here (and wait for it), in addition to the subscription. I only have a little more than a month left and live in the UK. I am having issues trying to buy the bundle, and now with the iLok issues some people have had with Gobbler and such, I am considering not going this route.
